I’ve loved, absolutely adored, photography for as long as I can remember. In school, on newspaper & yearbook staffs, I was always interested in pictures of people. I love people! I love who we are. I love all we bring. I love our similarities and our differences. I love our simplicity and our complexity. From our anger and sadness to our joy and excitement …we ALL have something to offer. Whether it’s worldly happiness we celebrate together or hardship, we learn to persevere through. People are the meaning in my life. Now, I’m sharing that meaning through my passion … my photography. God is Awesome!
While I began my formal photo work with sports photos, as I’ve taken more pictures, I am falling in love with every aspect of the art. From individual portraits to treasured family moments, from breathtaking landscapes to simple intense beauty of a single flower, from the joy of a young baseball player’s first home run to the precious stillness of a newborn baby sleeping … I want it all.
I want to be a part of all life’s greatest moments and wonderful people. That’s what I ask, for you to trust and allow me to get to know you so that we, together, can capture the awe of life in photographs to last a lifetime.
Gratitude...
I am the oldest daughter of supportive, loving parents - Graeme & Jane. I thank Dad for his protectiveness & peacefulness, and Mom for her creativity & spunk! All of these gifts are a part of who we are, and they make my life whole.
I am the very proud big, bossy sister of totally fun, loving, sensitive & incredibly talented, wonderful siblings - Allie, Karen, Mandy & Todd. Thank you for sharing with me all the little things in life that are always the grandest! (Not to mention the opportunity to be an Aunt to some zany little kids whom I adore!)
I am the Supersized Proud Mom, S’mom, ESM & ESM-in-law to 5 spectacular kids - Cody, Logan, Morgan, Tyler & Kelsey - who fill my heart with the gifts of their personalities in my everyday life. Our children give life’s mysteries true clarity and daily challenges a hearty laugh.
I am the wife of Richard - who has encouraged me to share my passion, without fear of failure and finally use my people-skills to share life’s magic and wonder with the world in the ways God has entrusted me with.
I am the Blessed Recipient of the gift of friendship from so many. My cup runneth over from your love, support, laughter, sharing and kindness … I cannot put into words all you've given me.
Thank you to all of you for being the meaning in my life. Thank you to God for giving me the heart to understand life’s meaning, and eyes to witness it …
I was blind, but now I See.
